…a place where the sound of music fills the air.  Music is heard, learned, studied, and enjoyed.  Where babies, toddlers, and children are encouraged to dream and explore, but more importantly, have fun.  Simply Strings Studio was created for that simple purpose.

During the summer of 2000, Simply Strings Studio started in a small, 500 sq. ft. apartment in South Minneapolis.  There were two teachers with the idea to teach an instrument they loved to children.  Their main purpose was to inspire children through the violin, bringing music into their lives.  Making music fun was the goal.

Through creative and innovative private instruction, energetic and interesting group lessons, small ensemble, and orchestra, Simply Strings Studio brings the joy of music to every student who takes the unique challenge of playing an instrument.  The Studio also provides exciting Music Classes and Storytimes for the developing minds of babies, toddlers, and preschoolers.  All of our instructors believe in the Studio’s objective.
