Elizabeth Bonacci began studying violin at age 5 through the Detroit Institute of Music and Dance. She continued with her classical
studies through high school, traveling throughout the States and Europe with her orchestra. After switching gears and studying theater and dance in college, she returned to music after receiving her BA from Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania. Elizabeth has spent the last six years playing violin and guitar and singing with many local and nationally touring groups. She currently plays with her husband under the name Eliza Blue and records with several other local artists.
Elizabeth is also devoted to early childhood education. Since graduating from college she has taught preschool and music at schools in New York City and Minnesota. She currently runs the preschool and general music program at Pearl Park in Minneapolis.
